Obituary of Dennis Watson

WATSON, Dennis:  Suddenly at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 with his family at his side, Dennis Watson passed away at the age of 84.  Predeceased by his wife Frances (1991).  Loving father of Cathy Shields (John) of Smithville, Patti Watson of Tweed, and Cynthia Micheau (and her puppy Winston) of Fenwick.  Cherished grandfather of Luke Shields (Shari), Jennifer Shields, and Carly Watson (Jamie Smith), and great-grandfather of Logan, Adam, Serena, and Evie Shields, and Felicity and Ryker Smith.  Dear and devoted friend of Mary Miazga.  Dennis will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, and all of his friends at Twenty Place.  Predeceased by his sister Irene, brothers Robert, Clifford, Norman, Albert, Allan, John, and Roy, and his parents Robert and Margaret.  Dennis was retired from Ford after over 30 years of service.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
