Celebration of Life
Condolences
Sending Sincerely Sympathies in the loss of Dad/Grandpa Dennis.
May Wonderful Memories remain with you always.
Thinking of you and sending Hugs up the road.
The Battersby's
I also have fond memories of the basement sing-a-long parties. We were often generously included in your family's Sunday outings to the beach or to your annual cottage stay at Clear Lake, although I suspect babysitting you three girls was part of the deal while your mom was doing some serious suntanning. Your Dad, our Uncle "Bird" was a fun-loving, generous man and I will miss him. Cathy, Patty and Cindy, I send my most sincere condolences.
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Dennis. We have so many wonderful memories of him when we would visit both him and Mary. He always a smile on his face and story to tell we saw him. We will miss our visits dearly with him, however, our lives are much fuller for having known him.
Ed and Marny Kalnins
Your dad was so lucky to have you girls to look after him. Not many, as Cathy will know, who are not institutionalized once the Alzheimers is diagnosed. He was very fortunate to be able to stay in his own home and have his girls squire him about and take him "hobo" shopping or to the casino. Many happy memories of Wasago Beach, Crystal Park and sharing your cottage rental with Gale and I. Basement parties singing along to old Everly Brothers L.P.s , Wake up Little Susie and Keep Away from Runaround Sue. Patiently teaching the "right" way to polish drinking glasses. Uncle "Bird" was a lovely man, he will be missed.
