Obituary of Peter Mark Alastair Ross

ROSS, PETER:  Suddenly at home on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, Peter Mark Alastair Ross passed away at the age of 45.  Beloved husband of Katie (nee DeJong) for nearly 19 years and a loving father to James and Michael.  Loved son of Marielle Ross (the late James), son-in-law of Linda and Bill DeJong, and grandson of the late Thomas Ross (the late Lena) and David Purcer (the late Doris).  He will be dearly missed by siblings Gary Ross (Tammy), Andrew Ross (Cheryl), siblings-in-law Janet Bonham, Sandra Wood (Kerry), John DeJong, and Brian DeJong (Anita); his nieces and nephews Annie, Liam, Kennis, Lena, Matthew, Michael, Stephen (Tiffany), Sam, Charlie, Jesse, Rayleen, Nicole, and great nephew Jackson; and his cousins and friends.  Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, June 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  A celebration of Peter's life will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Wednesday, June 14 at 1 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to West Lincoln Community Care can be made through the funeral home merritt-fh.com or westlincolncc.com
