Obituary of Johanna Timmerman

TIMMERMAN, JOHANNA: In her 88th year Johanna (Jopie) Timmerman (nee Scholten) has been called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Cornelis Timmerman (June 28, 2016). Loving mother of John and Yvonne, Harry and Joan, Grace and Erwin Raaber, Jean and Paul Koornneef, Ron and Shirley, Marilyn and Bert Hogeveen. Oma of 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Johanna also leaves behind sisters-in-law Jesse VanEngen (Willem 1983), and Ina Timmerman (Henk 2014). She was predeceased by grandaughter Carla (1983). Visitation will be at Merritt Funeral Home 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday, August 5, 2016, from 5-8 pm. Interment at Lane Cemetery will precede the funeral service that will be held at Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Smithville Rd., Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Klomps officiating. If desired, memorial donations to Shalom Manor and Gardens would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home. ~ Psalm 27 v.4 ~
