To the Timmermans and the Koops and extended family, Once again we share your grief; too soon after the passing of Cornelis . There is so little to say at a time like this. Certainly nothing that will take away the hurt. Just know that we are thinking of you and your family at this sad time and praying to God that He give you His peace and comfort. The peace that only He can give; peace that surpasses all understanding. When my brother passed away in March 2010, I found this poem ... may I share it with you ... It's called:
"The Broken Chain"
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
We didn't know your Johanna or Cornelis personally, but we know you and so know that she had to have been someone special, Cornelis too. Our heartfelt sympathy is with you all. We just wanted you to know.
