Fred passed peacefully with his family by his side, January 5, 2024. Survived by his best friend and wife Shirrene, sons Rod (Lorna) Brad (Karen), grandchildren Belinda (Sheldon), Cory, Eric (Emma) and Brady. He will be missed by great-grandchildren Bria, Kali, Riley and Hailee. Fred will be remembered by his daughter-in-law Julie, sister Patricia (Bruce), faithful companion Dawjer and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Winnifred, sister Anne and son Shawn. Arrangements entrusted to Merritt funeral home, Smithville. A private family celebration to take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the FORT Smithville would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
