Condolences
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my "Uncle" Peter. Although we weren't related by blood he and Jean were like family to me.
Peter is one of the kindest persons that I have ever met. He always had a cheerful disposition. He also made an impression on my daughter Jasmine. She will also miss him.
Special thoughts are with all of you as you begin
your grief journey. Pete was a special man leaving many
great memories of times together, miss you, love Wendy.
" A life well-lived leaves it's gentle pattern on the hearts of all..
And the world is a lovelier place because one person touched it with
warm and goodness."
I'll forever be in awe of how strong Opa was, fighting for as long as he did, and despite my heavy heart, I know he is in a better place.
He was the best grandfather I could have asked for, and I'm grateful for every moment that I had with him, despite distance and COVID keeping some space between us.
He was tough and loving, and regardless of any pain he might have been in at the time he would still insist on asking about my life and my schooling first, trying to make sure I wouldn't worry.
You left behind a beautiful family, Opa. I hope you rest easy knowing that, and get ready for the biggest hug in the next life.
All of my love,
Erin.
It saddens us to hear about Peter's passing. We have a multitude of great memories of all our times together at family gatherings, reunions and visits. He was a favourite of mom and dad who always enjoyed those visits with Peter and Jean. It is unfortunate that this past year has prevented any of the usual family get-togethers and we regret that so much time has lapsed since our last meeting. Please accept our deepest sympathy and condolences. We will miss him! The Wismer Family
