Obituary of Shari Veltman

VELTMAN, SHARI:  Passed away peacefully with Chris Garner and loved ones by her side on August 6, 2020, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, after a valiant battle with Cancer. Loving mother to Chase.  Predeceased by her mother Henny Veltman (nee. Daniels). Shari will be missed by her sisters Brenda Kelly (Paul) and Amy Bradley (Steve). Beloved Aunt of David (Hedy), Karli, Keegan, Kohlby, and Jayme. Shari will be remembered by her cousin Danny Obsteter. A special thank you to Shari’s friends Michelle Freeland, Danielle Crowe, and Patti Rockey. The family would like to acknowledge the compassion and empathetic care from Dr. Rebecca Steen, Dr. Jenn Ryecroft, Dr. Syed Bokhari, and Dr. Murtaza Gulamhussein, as well as the nurses in the I.C.U. and the Emergency department at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private a celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 14th at 1:00 PM. If desired, memorial contributions made in trust to Chase Garner or West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home, merritt-fh.com.
