MacPHERSON, THOMAS: At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Sunday, April 15, 2007, Thomas MacPherson of RR#1 St. Anns, in his 71st year. Beloved father of Cathy of British Columbia and Scott of Alberta. Dear brother of Mervin of Prince Edward County, Ontario and Ethel of Port Colborne. Predeceased by his brothers Gus, Malcolm and Roy and sisters Florence and Eileen. At Tom’s request, a private family service has been held with interment at Lane Cemetery, St. Anns. Special thanks to the staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, especially B Ward, for their care and compassion. If desired, memorial contributions to Lane Cemetery would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the Merritt Funeral Home. “To Be Always Cold” by Tom MacPherson All of my life I have hated the cold, no matter how many warm clothes that I wore. But now that I know that I am going below, to a place where I will have to shovel the coal, there is one thing for certain and that is for sure, no more will I ever be c-c-cold anymore. So lay the sod over me and not shed a tear. Just dance and be happy and drink lots of my beer!
