PATRIANAKOS, VASILIOS (William Patras)Suddenly, on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at his home in St. Anns, Vasilios Patrianakos (Bill Patras) in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Effie (nee Antoniou) for 47 years. Loving father of Guss and Lyndyn, Georgina Patras-Montano, and Sandra and Bill Tharrenos. Cherished by his grandchildren Ally, Jaclyn (Patras), Kristen, Michael (Montano), Cassie, Sam (Tharrenos). Bill will also be missed by family in Canada, Greece and the US. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, March 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Prayers at 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 11 am at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara Street (corner of Linwell), St. Catharines. Interment Smithville United Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
