Obituary of Peter Schipper

Peacefully at home and surrounded by family on Monday, October 28, 2019, Peter Schipper passed away at the age of 65.  Beloved husband of Trudy Schipper for 42 years.  He was a loving father to Darryl, Melissa (Andy), #2 son Brian Stuart (Shawna) and their son Duncan, and #3 son Chris Black.  Dear brother of Bill (Galina) Schipper, Wilma Schipper, Alice (Stu) Purser, John (Beth) Schipper, Ralph (Cheryl) Schipper, and Jeannette (Kent) Terrell.  Peter will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation to take place at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at Mountainview Christian Reformed Church, 290 Main Street East, Grimsby on Monday, November 4 at 11 a.m.  If desired, memorial donations to Shalom Manor would be appreciated by the family and can be made through Merritt Funeral Home. merritt-fh.com
