Obituary of Neil Alfred Ballantyne

BALLANTYNE, Neil Alfred:   On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at his home near Prescott (formerly of Binbrook), at the age of 65, Neil, devoted husband and soul mate of Corrine, slipped peacefully away after bravely fighting liver and pancreatic cancer. His son Neil Daniel and his daughter Elizabeth are deeply saddened by the loss of their Dad. He also leaves behind his much loved granddaughter Amber-Lynne, as well as his siblings Bob and Joan, Joanne and Gord, Terry and Sandra and stepson Ty Reid. Neil is predeceased by his beloved daughter Amber Mary who left us in 1986, and his parents Alfred (2012) and Leta (2015). Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. Private family service. If desired, Donations to the Kemptville District Hospital or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
