TUFFORD, LEONARD CHARLES GRANT: After a long history of heart problems, but a short diagnosis of Leukemia, Len passed peacefully at Jurvinski Hospital on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Predeceased by his father Allan, mother Catherine, and brother Wayne. He left behind his wife Carole (nee. Maynard) of 58 years. He was a loving father to Sandra, Kimberly (Ross), Ron (Kathy), and Trevor (Shelly).  Cherished grandpa of grandchildren Ryan (Ashley), Brennon, Khamber (Gabe), Krista, Cody (Cassie), Tyler, and Melissa. and great grandchildren Logan, Braeden, Jasmine, Chase, Ariel.  Dear brother of Joan (Jerry) and brother in law to Pat, Linda, Rudy, John, and Margaret. In Leonards 4 years in the Canadian Armed forces (1 SSM Battery & 2 RCHA) living 3 years in Germany, the remainder in Camp Shilo in Winnipeg, Manitoba The Family would like to thank their son Ron for spending everyday at the hospital with his dad, our family Doctor, Dr. Timko and all the Doctors and Nurses at Jurvinski Hospital, for the kind, compassionate, excellent care they gave Len for the past three weeks. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE MERRITT FUNERAL HOME, SMITHVILLE, a Celebration of life has been held.
