McLIN, G. DALE: Peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2008 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby, Gordon Dale McLin of Smithville in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Linda McLin (nee Urquhart) for 28 years. Loving father of Tracy and Stephen Price, and Rob McLin, and step-father of Lara and Shannon Matechuk, and Nancy Bass. Cherished grandfather of Sari, Kieran, Grace, Kyra, and Erika. Dear brother of John and Judy McLin, and uncle of Miranda and Noel. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Mary. Friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The memorial service will be held at Smithville United Church on Friday, June 27 at 11 am. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Lung Association or Smithville United Church would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
