Obituary of Alexander Clifford Davis

DAVIS, ALEX:  Passed away suddenly in Fonthill on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the age of 78.  Alex will be missed by his sister Louise Stayzer (Bruce), brother Edward Davis (the late Marilyn), sisters-in-law Jean Davis and Cheryl Davis, and his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.  Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Milly Davis, and brothers Doug and Laurie.  Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, October 18 from 2-5 p.m.  The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 19 at 11 a.m. at Merritt Funeral Home with inurnment at Elcho United Church Cemetery, Wellandport.  Special thanks to his friends at the 20/20 Bar and Grill in Fonthill for their valiant efforts, and to CCAC and the staff at Lookout Ridge Retirement Home for their care of Alex.  Memorial donations to Spinal Cord Injury Ontario or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
