Condolences
I just read about the passing of Dennis this morning when I did a google search. I am very sorry for the family's loss. I taught with Dennis at Marrrocco-Merton for close to 15 years. I lost touch after he retired. We were business teachers at the school and both taught on the first floor at the school. We were confidentes and often talked in each others homerooms at the end of the day or in a spare period, about the political issues of the day or what was happening at the school. He was fine, sensitive person and I enjoyed the collegial relationship we had. He left us far too early and will be missed.
My name is Alex ("Sandy") Williamson. I just became aware of the passing of Denny. We went to Mohawk College together and continued our studies at Canisius College in Buffalo N.Y. Sadly, I missed his passing but just seen it quite by chance when I was looking up "old" friends as next year is the 50th anniversary of my graduation at Canisius and he graduated one year later. I was a regular visitor to his apartment on 23 Spring Street in Hamilton and where we spent a lot of time during our days at Mohawk. It was a pleasure to read the wonderful tributes about his successful life and career. We were "besties" in our youth and spent a lot of time together. Wonderful memories indeed! It made me smile that he chose and excelled in his career in teaching because that is what he told me he wanted to do when we were young. We will all miss him.
I too had the honour of playing fastball, co coaching and running a team for over 15 years here in Toronto. Dennis was a gentle , considerate , and lively person who I will fondly remember. To the Tylee family I am sorry for your loss.

Our sincere sympathy to Denny's mother Ruby and brother Lloyd and family. May comfort, peace and good memories be with you. From Kathleen Emerson's daughter Dianne, and family.
My mom and I have many fond memories of Denny at the “Tylee Reunions” we had many years ago. Denny always was right in the middle of it all playing and joking with all the cousins. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

Denny's name brings back memories of playing fastball against each other Winona and Smithville, played some hockey with Lloyd and Denny, he was always lots of laughs, great team mate, I played in the Big Four in the 70's.
My deepest condolences to the family, he will be missed.
Sincerely,

I am so sorry to hear of Dennis' passing. We worked together in the Business Department at Bishop Marrocco/Thomas Merton CSS more than 20 years ago.
He was a lovely gentleman with whom I had many conversations--always smiling, ready to laugh but serious, and open to new ideas.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
Sincerest condolences.
So sorry to hear of Denny's passing, I knew him through fastball and hockey, I knew him at High School and College,.he was always so full of life, he will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to his family.
A sad day for all those that knew Denny. Truly a good friend as a young boy and a family that I have always held dear. Many a warm summer day was spent playing some sport and Denny would be in the thick of it. Together we brought Smithville two ORSA championships and memories that the Tylee family made possible. Denny and his family will always have a special place in my heart and I will look to see them all again.
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Denny.
We grew up together in Smithville and spent a lot of time together.
I have tons of great memories of Denny.
I can still see him driving around town in his 1968 Butternut Yellow Camaro.
He just loved that car.
I also remember having meals at his house. His mother Ruby was a great cook.
Sorry for his passing. He will be missed for sure.

So sorry to hear of Denny's passing , I'm sure he will be missed by close friends & family . We were neighbours when I was growing up and it was always a big thrill for me walking to school past his house ( we are talking public school ) and he would always wait and walk with me even though I was 5 years younger and at that age it was a big deal , to me anyways , Lasting memories will live on .
PEACE to all !
Sincere Sympathies Ruby and family.
Memories of our youth come flooding back.
Local sports, S.L.H.S., car cruising the main street, Jolly's.

My sympathies to the whole Tylee family on the passing of our friend Denny Tylee. He is a true friend. We shared many days together on the ball diamonds all around Ontario. We would sit in our back yard with a camp fire, talk, and listen to music. What great times!!
