Obituary of Sylvia Harriet Meindersma

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sylvia Harriet Meindersma (nee Bosch), at the age of 64 at her home with family at her side on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Much beloved wife of Peter for 38 years.  Sylvia leaves behind her loving daughters Renee (Guillermo), Monique and Paula (Dylan).  Cherished grandmother of Johann and Vivian.  Also survived by her siblings John (Corinne), Richard (Judy) and Robert (Joanne).  She will also be dearly missed by Sita (John), Bert, and Bill (Debbie).  Loving aunt to Erin, Crystal, Laura, Derek, Corey, Tiffany, Tara, Teisha, Tamarin, Jason, Mark, Adam and Jessica.  Sylvia touched the hearts of many, caring for her family and with her work as a home care nurse.  The family sends an extra special thank you to nurse Barb for all her care and support. Visitation will be held at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday, August 1st from 6-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Thursday, August 2nd at 11 a.m.  If desired, memorial donations to Indwell would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
