Obituary of Alfred Joseph Doucette

DOUCETTE, ALFRED (Fred):  Suddenly at home on Monday, April 9, 2018, Alfred Joseph Doucette passed away at the age of 82.  Beloved husband of Leone Doucette, and of the late Eunice Doucette.  Loving father of Randy Doucette (Pat), Rob Doucette, Marcia Doucette, and Michelle McIntyre.  Cherished Papa of Matthew Doucette, Brent Doucette, Alex Doucette, Christopher Doucette, and Steve McIntyre.  Predeceased by grandson David McIntyre.  Fred will also be fondly remembered by his “bonus-children” Laura and Peter Deckert, Lisa and Karl Schlenz, Michael and Cathy Corbett, Bart and Nancy Saunders, and their children. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, April 12 from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Friday, April 13 at 11 a. m. with inurnment at a later date.  If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation can be made through the funeral home.
