To Janet and Daryll - our sincere condolences in the passing of your Dad. We are currently in Florida, but we want to send along our sympathies and to let you know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God Bless!!!
Your father was always very helpful when we visited the hardware store. When we first moved to Smithville 32 years ago it was the hardware store and the personal way we were dealt with in town by your folks and others which made the move smooth and friendly. Good memories. May you be comforted by the promises found in God's word and being surrounded by great friends.
to the hodgkins family:
so sorry for your loss i remember going into the hardware store with grandma and grandpa bought my first bicycle there and he always had a cigar in his mouth. May he rest in peace
I remember the hardware store. Right up until it closed it had stuff you couldn't get anywhere else. Clayton was a big part of the Smithville I remember growing up. My sympathies to all of the family and friends.

My Deepest Condolences to the Family & Friends. May he R.I.P.
I bought my first Shot-Gun from Clayton many years ago.
I knew Clayton spent many a day up at Port Loring with Skeeter & my Dad, Fred Price Sn.
Clayton made many friends over the years & will be greatly missed.
Hopefully he has found his final resting place.
Cheers to U Clayton !
My sincerest condolences to Janet, Marianne and Joanne and families. I remember your parents so fondly through the store and the many bicycles I bought as a growing boy with a paper route in town. Your Mom and Dad always went out of their way for the customer. They truly added to the quality core of a small community.
Warmest regards
Ray Goulet and Family
