My fondest memories of Mrs. Hillberg was "helping" her and her husband with clearing communion at Grassie Gospel Church. I would gather the empty glasses from the church and bring them to the back room where she would be waiting with trays of unused communion glasses filled with yummy grape juice. I'm sure she waited for me each time! As I drank every one of them, she "looked the other way"- then I was on to the communion crackers! It was the perfect snack before Sunday lunch!
Mrs. Hillberg was the type of person who would treat everyone with the same amount of respect and love- regardless if you were a 15 year old kid, or the Prime Minister of Canada. She related to everyone, and, as a result, she was loved by everyone who ever met her. Mrs. Hillberg- don't just "rest in peace"- but jump and dance with the angels as you deserve a long life in heaven!
The world lost a gentle, kind, loving soul today..... a Lady in the best sense of the world, who always had a smile, was always willing to help, and never had a cross word to say about anyone. She could light up a room with her smile and make your day better just by being part of it. I am thankful to have known her and know Heaven is all the better for her joining it. My thoughts and condolences go out to the whole family.
