KNOLL, PHYLLIS: Suddenly, at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville on Saturday, July 19, 2008, Phyllis Georgenna Knoll (nee Lehman) of Caistor Centre was called Home to be with her Lord, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Rev. John Knoll for 60 years. Loving mother of Esther and Grant Teal, Ruth and Ross Griffin, Robert and Helen Knoll, and Sylvia Knoll. Cherished grandmother of Brook and Lisa Teal, Jonathan Teal, Christy and Ryan Fullerton, Phil and Emily Griffin, Paul Griffin, Nora Griffin, Cathy and Allan Pickell, Mike and Gillian Cain, Jo-Ann and Gino DeLuca, and Rebecca Knoll, and great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Helen Lehman and of Rev. Eldon Boettger. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by five sisters and one brother. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, July 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Caistor Centre Free Methodist Church, 8488 Regional Road 65 (Silver Street) in Caistor Centre, on Wednesday, July 23 with visitation beginning at 10 am and the service to follow at 11 am.
