LOMMEN-DIKS, MARIA:
It is with an extremely heavy heart that we announce the passing of our Beautiful Mother Maria Christina Lommen-Diks (also known as Rita, and by her Dutch friends as Riet) on Sunday October 22, 2017!!! There are no words that can describe what this amazing woman has done for us throughout our lives. She was our mother, our teacher, our nurse and our friend. She taught us so much. She is the reason we are the women we are today. Always an inspiration! A beautiful smile, a kind and caring soul. With compassion for all that she met animals included. She is without a doubt one of the strongest, bravest and selfless person that we have ever known. She always put everyone before herself. Her wit and charm were unforgettable. And although she had many health issues in her later years she ALWAYS remained positive!!! Things will get better she'd say. She was our ROCK!!! And we have no idea what we are going to do without her!!! Our hearts are breaking but we have peace knowing that she is in a better place where she is no longer in pain!!! God has called his Angel back to him and we know she is looking down upon us now and will be our Guardian Angel! Love you Mom!!! RIP Beautiful Lady!!! Xoxoxo
