PIERSMA, THOMAS: Passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Friday, July 21, 2017 at West Park Health Centre in St. Catharines at the age of 84 years. Brother of Jennie VanBerkel and Tina Veldhuizen, and uncle of 13 nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Stoney Creek.
