Obituary of Lorna Colleen Young

YOUNG, COLLEEN:  After a valiant battle at Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, June 1, 2017, Lorna Colleen Young (nee Wiley) passed away at the age of 62.  Beloved wife of the late Gord Young (2011).  Loving mother of Dawn Young and Russell Young (Teresa O'Neill) and cherished grandmother of Brady.  Dear sister of Janice Stickle (Fred), Karen Scoble (Stephen Porter), Doug Wiley (Karen), and Pamela Hicking (Bruce), and sister-in-law of Garry Young (Nerny), Don Young (Doris), and Roy Young (Connie).  Colleen will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, June 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.   A celebration of life service will be held at Caistorville United Church, 9550 York Road, Caistorville (West Lincoln), on Wednesday, June 7 at 11 a.m.  If desired, memorial donations to Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation or West Niagara Second Stage Housing would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
