Obituary of William Kroes

KROES, WILLIAM: At His appointed time after a long struggle the Lord took unto Himself His child, with his family by his side, Bill (William) Kroes on Friday, November 25, 2016 in his 62nd year. Loving husband of Irene. Dearest father and grandfather of Patricia Kroes-Keizer and her children Naiben and Carys; Jolene and Tim Bartels and their children Quinten, Emerson, Joelle and Avery; Christopher and Jessica Kroes and their children Brayden and Graysen. He was a loved brother of Janet VanEgmond, Hennie Kroes, Jean and Bert Blokker, Winnie and Jake Bos; son-in-law of Pietje Haarsma; brother-in-law of Marg and John Noorduyn, Bernice and Jim Buist, Tracey and Peter Strating, Ivan and Jennifer Haarsma, and is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Henry and Wietske Kroes, brother-in-law Adri VanEgmond, brother Garry Kroes, and father-in-law Andries Haarsma and brother-in-law Yme Haarsma. Visitation at Smithville Canadian Reformed Church, 330 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, November 29 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Smithville Canadian Reformed Church on Wednesday, November 30 at 11 a.m. with interment at Lane Cemetery, St. Anns.
