Dearest Kathy,
I'm so sorry over the loss of your dear brother, David. I know how special he was to you. It's never simple to lose a loved one.
I remember David growing up on the farm as a kind and gentle person. Whenever I would visit you at your house, he would always give me a smile in his shy way, remembering also his sense of humor. His loyalty to stay and work the farm, even after your parents' death, says a lot about his character. Even though I didn't get to see David in all those years gone by, I felt that we never lost touch after you and I reconnected, just knowing that he was still smiling. He took an interest in where I lived and always worried when he watched the news and heard about something happening in "Vaughan".
I will miss you dear David. May you rest in peace.
