Obituary of Raymond Theodore Ondersma

ONDERSMA, RAYMOND: The Lord in His wisdom called home His son Raymond Theodore Ondersma of Smithville in his 49th year on Thursday, July 21, 2016 as a result of a tragic accident. Ray was the beloved husband of Julia Jacqueline Zeldenrust for nine years and a loving father to his son Dylan. He was a dearly loved son of Thea (nee Doekes) and the late Robert Ondersma, and brother of Dana Ondersma, Annette Ondersma (Rob Flear), and Dorothy Ondersma (Jeremy Baker). Ray will also be deeply missed by his parents-in-law Henny and Klaas Zeldenrust, siblings-in-law Carlos Zeldenrust, Teresa Hessels (Rick), Louis Zeldenrust (Gwen), Annetta Dekker, and Adrian Zeldenrust, and by his nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at Canadian Reformed Church of Smithville, 330 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, July 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Canadian Reformed Church of Smithville on Tuesday, July 26 at 11 a.m. Interment (private) at Union Cemetery, Smithville will precede the service.
