GATER, Margaret Louise (nee Kay): Suddenly at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Beloved mother of Dan Gater (Theresa) and Debbi Tennant (Brandon). Loving grandmother of James and Grace Tennant and Merrissa and Jessica Gater. Cherished sister of Audrey Saunders (Allan) and Leslie Kay (Valarie). Much loved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by mother Marjorie and father Bernard Kay. Loved by many friends especially her dearest friends Vivien, Nancy, Val and Linda. Marg was a retired elementary secretary with the Hamilton Board of Education. Visitation on Sunday, April 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 25 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
