Obituary of Sylvia Barbra Young

YOUNG, SYLVIA: With family at her side on Thursday, January 14, 2016, Sylvia Barbra Young (nee Pisiak) of Smithville passed away in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Clark Young for 12 years and the late Bill Olesevich (1997). Sylvia was a dear and loving mother to her children Mark Olesevich (Debbie) and Karen Bergman (John) and her step children Karen d'Eon (Vince), Marilyn Russell (Michael) and Linda McNeil (Peter). She will be sadly missed by the grandchildren she cherished: Candice (Kevin), Kyle (Jessica), Shelby (Adam), Matthew (Heidi), Brittany (Andrew), Brianne (Aaron), Jason (Tracy), Justin (Jill), Jeanelle (Cory), Tara (Scott), Danielle (AJ), Shannon and PJ. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren: Chase, Tayla, Jordyn, Lyla, Lynden, Gwen and Beth. Also survived by her sister Rose Ebert (Wayne) and brother Morris (Heather). Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday, January 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Monday, January 18 at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations to Smithville United Church would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
