Obituary of Joachim Lambertus Veltman

VELTMAN, JOE: At McNally House Hospice on Friday, November 13, 2015, Joachim Lambertus Veltman of Smithville passed away peacefully in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Hendrika (Rita) Veltman, nee VanWyngaarden (2013). Loving father of Joe Veltman, Debbie Turl and Susan Rossi. Dear grandfather of Joe, Mike, Amber, Scooter, Fred, Scott and Lauren and great grandfather of eight. Joe served in the Royal Dutch Navy. He remained active in his community, especially in the Royal Canadian Legion. The funeral service was held at Merritts United Church with interment in the church's adjoining cemetery on Monday, November 16.
