Dear Nancy and family,
Just wanted to express my condolences to you all with Frank's passing. He was an amazing and funny guy! I will have fond memories of his cheerfulness despite feeling really "crummy" some days.
Sorry this is so late - hadn't heard anything from Paramed...
Wishing you much peace and love,

You could tell that he truly enjoyed being with the kids and always had a smile on his face. I'm so sorry to learn of his passing and my deepest condolences go out to his family. Treasure him and keep his memory close. He was a special human being. God bless. Xo

Mr. Poole was my favourite teacher EVER. I was blessed to have him in the mid 80's at Blakelock. To this day he is still spoken about in my home as to why I love math - Great teacher and great person. My condolences to the family

My sincere condolences to Mr Pooles family and friends. I had the pleasure of being one of his students at Blakelock High School. some of my fondest memories are of my time in his math classes. Mr Poole was a great teacher. May he rest in peace.
Fond memories of meeting Frank in October 2014. Love, blessings and deepest sympathy to Nancy, Dave, Lisa, Michael and Kevin, Greg and Anna
Frank, You were good to me... and you were tough on me when you thought I needed it. That was back at Blakelock High school in what we called "sweat hog" math. I have great memories of you making math class entertaining when I struggled with it. You liked Country Style doughnuts back in the day. I picked up on that and got you those big fat chocolate glazed every once in a while you would find on your desk . You were the only teacher that allowed me to tell a joke in class if I needed to sound off...I think they call that ADD these days. You even laughed when I crossed the line with that duck joke at the U.S. border crossing... You were a great mentor. You made it fun to come to your class. It's been said that the day you die is the day you are forgotten. A guy like you will never be forgotten. Thank you Frank.. Rob MacDougall TAB 1972-76..or maybe 77..?
So sorry to hear about Frank, my fondest memories were walking in on the poker games with the group my Dad Ray Deane played with and Frank was always smiling with that grin of his.
Mr. Poole was great teacher who always challenged us to go further than we thought we could. He was curious, energetic and generous. He will be missed. I went to Blakelock in the late 80s.
I am so so sorry to hear of Mr. Poole's passing. He was my 10th grade math teacher at Blakelock in the 80's and the best math teacher I've ever had. He not only made math fun, but easy for me to understand, which was not an easy feat. He was always friendly, had a smile on his face, and made you feel welcome in his class. I will always remember him fondly and as one of my very favorite teachers. I hope it will help his family and friends to know what a difference he made in so many lives....he definitely made a big difference in mine.
Mr Poole was my favourite teacher at Blakelock. He was able to make a subject which was for many people very intimidating, very approachable. I appreciate that even 30 years later.
My deepest condolences.

I am sending kind thoughts and warm wishes to friends and family of Mr Poole. He taught me at Blakelock and I often remember him and his teaching fondly. He had a positive approach and pushed us hard. He really made me think and question, and this has stood me in good stead in life. Enjoy the memories of an amazing person.
We were so sorry to hear about Frank. Frank and Nancy were the first to welcome us to the neighbourhood and it was much appreciated. He was a good neighbour.

Nancy, David & Greg and families:
I have very fond memories of our families times together. I babysat the boys, and Frank and I used to joke and tease one another. I will never forget the shaving cream incident!. The fun we used to have at Kin functions and Kin Camp will never be forgotten. May Frank Rest in Peace and be free of sickness.
My thoughts are with you as I am unable to be there on Monday.
