GOERTZEN, DENISE: Passed away peacefully in her 64th year at St. Peter's Hospital on Friday, July 31st, 2015. Married 44 years to loving husband and best friend, Warran. Survived by brother Frank Snow and his wife Jay, sisters-in-law Helen Baker (Bruce), Betty Askett (Ron), Shirley Oakes, brother-in-law Leonard Goertzen (Linda) as well as many nieces, nephews and numerous family members across Canada. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at St. Peter's Hospital Palliative Care Unit – 3 West. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, August 6th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to Crohn's and Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
