DOORTEN, CHRISTINA: Suddenly at home on Sunday, August 26, 2007, Christina Elizabeth Jane Doorten (nee Jansen van ‘t land, in her 54th year. Beloved wife of Hendrik (Henk) Doorten for 35 years. Loving mother of Sheri Doorten, Tonya Beaudin and Steve, Cindy Biss and Shawn, and Jeremy Doorten and Kathryn. Cherished by her grandchildren Kaitlynn, Nicholas, Brandon, and Anthony Beaudin, Nathan, Michael and Emma Biss, Micah and Jenoah Doorten, Lwitela and Mzee Mateso. Dear sister of Jolanda, Joyce, Judy and Petra. Predeceased by her brother Bert. The funeral service was held at St. Anns Community Church on Thursday, August 30 with Pastor Mike Hotson officiating. Interment Lane Cemetery, St. Anns. If desired, memorial contributions to Multiple Sclerosis would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
