DRENTH, JERRY: At Shalom Manor in Grimsby on Monday, March 5, 2007, the Lord suddenly called home His child Jurrien (Jerry) Drenth, in his 92nd year. Predeceased by Mary (December 2006), his beloved wife of 68 years. Loving father of Albert and Willy, Peter and Annemarie, Henry and Ruth Anne, the late Tom (1989), Joanne Drenth-VanDyke and Dick VanDyke, Linda and John Rynberk, Bert and Atherton, and Theodore and Sandra. Cherished grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by four sisters-in-law in Holland. Predeceased by two brothers, one sister, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law all in Holland, one infant granddaughter, and one infant great-granddaughter. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, March 8 from 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 9 at 11 am at Riverside Christian Reformed Church in Wellandport. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Wellandport.
