COOPER, RALPH: Peacefully, at his farm in Smithville on Thursday, January 18, 2007, Ralph Erwin Cooper, in his 86th year. Beloved son of the late Harry Earl Cooper and the late Celina Constance Cooper (nee Ward). Ralph will be remembered and missed by his cousins Tom Andrews of Wainfleet, Gail and David Chu of North Carolina, Janet and Gerald Hutton of Hamilton, and Connie and Claude Melick of St. Anns, and by his beloved horses. Predeceased by cousins Glenn Ward and Marie Andrews. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service of remembrance will be held on Monday, January 22 at 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment at Smithville United Church Cemetery has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to Smithville United Church would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
