BARTMAN, EDWARD: After a long battle with cancer, Edward Adolf Bartman passed away on Monday, August 20, 2007 at Henderson Hospital in Hamilton. Beloved husband of Victoria Bartman (nee Placzek). Loving father of Teena and James Smith. Cherished by his granddaughter Amanda. Dear brother of Kathy and Joe Boros, Adeline Kyweriga and the late Lawrence Kyweriga, Rose and Ron Wach, Barbara and David Pomeranski, Liz and Lawrence Hokanson, and sister-in-law Jean Bartman. He will also be missed by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers John and Victor Bartman and parents Teene and Michael Bartman. In respect of Ed’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A remembrance of his life will be included at Evening Mass at St. Martin of Tours’ Roman Catholic Church in Smithville on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 7 pm. Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses for their care and compassion. If desired, memorial contributions to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
