Obituary of Ronald Leonard Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, RON (Rock):   It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Leonard Armstrong of Smithville on Saturday, August 6, 2007 in his 60th year.  Beloved father of Jason (Olena and soon to be grandchild) and Tara (fiancé Jason Rossi), son of Ron Armstrong Sr. and the late Thelma (1988), cherished brother of Fay Traver (Gord) and Pat Traver (Larry), uncle of Rhonda (Mike), Lee, and Rachel.  He will also be sadly missed by Linda Armstrong and her family and remembered by his many friends and his co-workers at Dofasco.   Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 10 at 11 am.  Interment Cayuga Riverside Cemetery, Cayuga.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Hamilton Burlington SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
