WIRTH, KATARINA: At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Sunday, August 17, 2014, Katarina Wirth (nee Binish) of Smithville passed away in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Andreas Wirth (1997). Loving mother of Maria (Mary) Hamilton, Andrew Wirth (Pat), and Anne Lampman (Bruce). Cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her infant son Joseph (1937) and sons-in-law Douglas Ford and Peter Hamilton. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, August 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Prayers at 3 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Wednesday, August 20 at 11 am with interment at the Church's adjoining cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home
