DEGROW, ROY: Passed peacefully at Linhaven in St. Catharines on Saturday, August 16, 2014, surrounded by family, Roy Kenneth Degrow passed away in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Mona Degrow (nee Peart). Loving father of Janet Sacks (Rick) of St. Catharines. Cherished grandfather of Dr. Eileen Sacks (Tom Baker) of Penetanguishene and of Jeanette Sacks of Calgary, Alberta, and great-grandfather of Christopher and Hannah Baker. Predeceased by brothers Leslie, Frank and Will and twin sister Rhea Whitbread. Roy served several terms as councillor for Caistor Township. The funeral service was held at Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville with interment at Caistorville United Church Cemetery.
