BIRR, MAIRI: Suddenly at home in Caistor Centre on Saturday, March 15, 2008, Mairi Paterson Birr (nee Thomson) in her 42nd year. Beloved wife of Greg Birr and daughter of Tom and Betty Thomson. Cherished mother of Makayla and Mitchell. Loving sister of Georgina and Ken Minor, Catherine and Dwaine Murawski and sister-in-law of Geoffery and Sharon Birr. Dear daughter-in-law of William and Rose Birr. Mairi will also be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Road 20) in Smithville on Saturday, March 22 beginning at 1 pm. The memorial service will follow at 3 pm. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Toronto Sick Kids would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
