McKAY, LEO: At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, Leo Guy McKay of Smithville passed away in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Leone (nee Lumsden). Loving father of Terry McKay (Judy), the late Diane Larsen (Ole), and Patsy Stephen (Allan). Cherished grandfather of Terry McKay (Crystal), Lisa McKay, Linda Coleman (Mike), and Heather Arnold (Guy), and great grandfather of Nathan, Callum, Samantha, Courtney, Mackenzie, and Brianne. Dear brother of Lyman (Marge), and Cecilia Barnes. Leo will also be missed by special friend Lillian, his many nieces and nephews, and his feline boys Toby and Trouble. Special thanks to his caregivers Judy and Sherry, and to the doctors, nurses and staff of West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Road 20), on Monday, April 22 at 11 am. Inurnment at the church's adjoining cemetery at a future date. If desired, memorial donations to Smithville United Church would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
