McGONIGLE, JOAN: At Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, August 5, 2013, Joan Eleanor McGonigle (nee Eldridge) passed away in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late William McGonigle. Loving mother of David Hutton (Lynn), Sandra McCracken, and Billie-Joan McGonigle (Dave). Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear sister of Doreen Swift (John). Predeceased by brothers Victor and Earl and sisters Velma and Betty. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 11 am at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home
