LEWIS, KEN: Kenneth Milton Lewis, 81, of Smithville, Ontario passed away peacefully on August 1, 2013 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, comforted by his wife and daughter. Born in Deptford, England on November 28, 1931, he was the youngest child of Frank Lewis and Hilda (Ellis) Lewis. He immigrated to Canada with his family in October 1948. Ken was extremely loving and proud of his family. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life of 54 years, Pauline (Robillard) Lewis, his seven children, Marguerite Smith and her husband Doug, Michael Lewis and his wife Lorei-an, Cathy Hockey and her husband Mark, Dianne Taylor and her husband Gary, Trevor Lewis and his wife Sandra, Ken Lewis Jr. and his wife Erica, Susan Woods and her husband Paul, his 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, his sister Joyce Osborne as well as many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by sisters Hilda Lewis and Violet Evans and brother Frank Lewis. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, August 3 from 4-7 pm and on Sunday, August 4 from 1-4 pm at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville. Prayers at 4 pm on Saturday, August 3. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville on Monday, August 5 at 11 am, with interment at the church's adjoining cemetery.
