LAMPMAN, ETTA: Peacefully, at her home in Caistor Centre on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, Etta Marie Lampman (nee Hutcheson) in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Coral Emerson Lampman (1981). Loving mother of Alex Lampman (Jeanne), Dorothy Hunter, Helen Penfold (Ron), Marjorie Gies (and friend Harold Goit), and Linda Smith (Jim). Cherished grandma of 33 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Helen Quartermaine or Truro, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her son Donald, sons-in-law Ken Hunter and Leroy Gies, grandsons Paul Leach and Steven Cowles, granddaughter Sheila Davidson, sister Bernice Walker and brother Sam Hutcheson. The funeral service was held at Merritts United Church on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Ted Lydan officiating. The eulogy was given by Wendy Murphy, and Cindy Evans read "Psalm 23". Lois Lockhart was the organist and Tabitha Nicholson sang "Amazing Grace". Interment at the church's adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers were Doug Ward, Doug Lampman, Jason Logan, Bryon Leach, Shawn Murphy and Jim Lampman.
