DIMAKIS, TERRY: Eleftherios (Terry) Dimakis of St. Anns, formerly of London, passed away serenely and with dignity at Welland County General Hospital on Monday, March 4, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He died with his loving wife of 53 years, Theoktisti (Toula) Dimakis constantly by his side. Deeply missing their mentor, his guidance and wisdom will be his children Georgia and Dimitri, Theodore, and Konstantine and Eleni. Sadly missing their "Papou" are his grandchildren George, Theoktisti, Eleftherios, Alexander, Eleftherios, Theoktisti, Katerina and Eleftherios who loved and adored him with all of their hearts. Dear brother of Bill Dimakis and Helen Stasinos. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Predeceased by siblings Likourgos, John and Sarandos. Terry was born to Konstantine & Theodora (deceased) on October 9, 1932 in Sellasia, Sparta, Greece. Since immigrating to Canada in 1957, his ambitions and dreams revolved around his principles and family values; all of which he accomplished in his own charismatic yet "Spartan" way. His modesty, integrity, candor, benevolence and character will always be an example for us all.
