DEHAAN, HANK: Suddenly, at the Lord's time, our beloved son Hendrik Jan DeHaan of St. Catharines was taken from us on Sunday, August 25, 2013. Hank was the beloved son of Gesina DeHaan (nee Kiezebrink) and the late Willem DeHaan. Loving brother of Ina VanAndel (Brian), Bert DeHaan (Andrea), Elly Hutten (Tim), Wilco DeHaan (Julie), and Fred DeHaan. Hank will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends, soccer teams he coached, co-workers in the floral industry, and extended family in Canada and The Netherlands, especially Tante Dien. Visitation at Smithville Canadian Reformed Church, 330 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday, August 28 from 6-9 pm. The family will meet friends and family for the burial service at Lane Cemetery, St. Anns on Thursday, August 29 at 1 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm at Smithville Canadian Reformed Church. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
