BIEBERT, EMMA (nee Butkus) of Caistor Centre passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Dunnville Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Karl Wilhelm Biebert (1986). Mother of predeceased infant son, Richard Bruce (1956) and daughter-in-law to the late Leopold Biebert. Loving mother of Edith Biebert (Allan) and Christie Biebert (Pamela). Cherished Omy, grandmother to Katrina Rusti, Ashley and Devon (Marissa). Emma will be missed by family, friends and neighbours. A woman of exceptional strength in body and spirit (strong like bull) Emma is now at peace. Thanks to the staff at Grandview Lodge for their excellent care and understanding. To Dr. Kazemi, a heartfelt thank you. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, January 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 4 at 11 am followed by the interment at Caistorville United Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
