ZELENYT, MICHAEL: At his home in Smithville on Monday, February 13, 2012, Michael Semko Zelenyt passed away in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen for 56 years. He will be missed by his sons Ivan and Philip and daughter-in-law Elaine. Cherished grandfather of Bradley and Emily. Michael will also be missed by his brother-in-law Peter Race, sister-in-law Sandra Race, and his family in Ukraine and England. Friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday, February 17 beginning at 12 Noon and the service will follow at 1:30 pm. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
