ZWAAGSTRA, PIETER: Passed on to glory to be with his Lord, peacefully and with courage at home Thursday, March 15, 2007 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Femmie (nee Terpstra) for 54 years. Loving father of Hilma and Brian, John and Linda, Frank and Fran, Diane and Case, Peter and Angie. Cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law to Gietje and Cor, Frances and George Vos, Froukje and Bert Snippe, Siebe and Triene, Elisebeth and Andre Sypkes, Frank and Grace, Sietse and Fenna, Ank and Jan, Jellie and Henk VanRhee, Hanny Kadyk and the late Luit, Tia and Sytse Feenstra, Jikky Terpstra, and Francien and the late Harry Molenberg. Predeceased by brothers Johannes and Dirk. Pieter is resting at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street in Smithville where the family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, March 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Celebration of his life will be held at Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Smithville Road in Smithville on Monday, March 19th at 11 am.
