ELSIE, KENNETH WILLIAM: At Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, November 25, 2012, Kenneth William Elsie of Smithville passed away at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Elda Mae Elsie (nee Huffman) for 46 years. Loving father of Brad Elsie (Penny), and Trish Elsie. Cherished Grandfather of Zoe and Ryan. Dear brother of Harold Elsie (Evelyn), Marilyn Martin (Jerry), predeceased by his brother Barry Elsie (Janice). Ken retired as an Executive of the Royal Bank after 38 years of loyal service. Post retirement he enjoyed managing the Grimsby Curling Club for 5 years. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday, November 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville on Wednesday, November 28 at 11 am. The family will be receiving friends at the Grimsby Curling Club, 277 Kerman Avenue, Grimsby (905) 945-2688 after the service.
